The project is a two-floor double house extension aligned vertically above an existing one-storey residence. Its form and function is a result of the restricted building code regulations combined with the fact that the permitted area and height had to be equally divided to two family members. On the street elevation, where the verandas and main living area are organized, the curved roof creates an atrium between the two levels of the new homes.
